Betsy Anton

Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC

Unconditional positive regard – this means all people seeking counseling are welcomed, understood and accepted for who they are and where they are. As a therapist, I focus on showing non-judgmental care and concern first and foremost. I’ve worked as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in private practice, outpatient clinics and school-based programs in the greater Indianapolis area since 2008. My areas of clinical focus include depression, anxiety, life changes & stressors, chronic pain management, trauma/childhood attachment issues, childhood & adult ADHD, anger management, and emotion regulation. I use many evidenced-based types of treatments, with a focus on self-care and goal setting. I truly try to join alongside you in your journey and assist you in achieving your goals.

I am a a two-time graduate of University of Indianapolis in 2006 with a BA in Psychology and 2008 with a MA in Mental Health Counseling. Go Greyhounds! In my free time, I enjoy playing instrumental band music with a local community band, volunteering as a trained weather spotter for the National Weather Service, and volunteering for animal rescues focused on adoption of cats and the health and well-being of feral/community cats.
