Lacy Hopper

Licensed Mental Health Counselor-Associate/Provisional Registered Art Therapist, LMHC-A, ATR-P

I am so glad you’re here! I’m Lacy, and I would love to support you on your healing journey!

I was a stay-at-home mom and military spouse while my kids were small. I saw and felt the impact of trauma on both the individuals who experienced it and their loved ones. After living in the military community for over a decade, I chose to go back to school in order to learn how to help those impacted by trauma. I completed the Mental Health Counseling program with a concentration in art therapy at the University of Indianapolis.

One of my approaches to therapy is to use art therapy combined with person-centered CBT and DBT. Art therapy provides an outlet for those things that are difficult to express and put into words. No previous experience or ability required!

I have had the opportunity to work with diverse populations in a variety of settings. I have worked with children in both school-based and outpatient settings, as well as a time working with refugee children. I have also worked with adults with a variety of struggles, including PTSD, substance use, anxiety, and depression.
